Hi, I began my career working with Oracle RDBMS over twenty five years ago. I now work daily with Linux / PostgreSQL / Python. I am passionate about Technology and have spent a lot of time learning new technologies over the years.
My spare time is spent trying to learn more about programming, particularly the Python language, and having just completed the Pybites Developer Mindset Programme I am looking forward to implementing everything I learned on that course.
I have a passion for adapting to new technologies, doing the occaisional bit of web design and web app programming. I love the pace at which technology is changing and the challenge of trying to keep up to date. I'm available to help where and when time permits.
I work remotely and which puts me in a very lucky position, for which I am truly grateful, as it affords me the time and luxury to learn new technologies and bring these skills to the workplace. It also means I have an extra 4 working hours per day where I am not commuting.
